Hip-Hop Rumors: Was Obama Robbed? Soulja Boy Goes OFF!...

If that alone isn't crazy enough, the damn fool was living in a house with their mutha freakin' decomposing bodies for TWO WEEKS. She was arrested just yesterday and officials are holding her crazy a** without bail.

Here is the CNN Report:

The victims, who range in age from 5 to 17 years, are thought to be her daughters. Their bodies were found when U.S. marshals served an eviction notice at Jacks' apartment in southeast Washington, D.C.

Court documents say Jacks identified the victims as her daughters Brittany Jacks, 17; Tatianna Jacks, 11; N'kiah Fogle, 6; and Aja Fogle, 5.

Earlier Thursday, Mayor Adrian Fenty said the bodies' decomposition has hindered their identification, although they were believed to be Jacks' children.

Store's crazy credit game

Anyone can get a phone number and do this to someone else, because when they access your account they ask you for your phone number and anyone in the store can hear your number, write it down and use it later without even having to show an ID.

Tina Stearns, Portage, Ind.

Dear Tina: The Fixer agrees -- this is crazy. We wanted to find that guy who took your kids' store credit and re-enact Mortal Kombat right there in the Game Crazy lobby.

Actually, we found it a lot easier to call Meaghan Repko, spokeswoman for Movie Gallery Inc., the parent company of Game Crazy. She got on this in short order. The next day, you got a call from a district manager for Game Crazy who was very apologetic. He offered you one of two options: they could issue you a $53 check, or offer a store credit for twice the amount in question, or $106.

A Path Worth Taking? The Prospects and Challenges of a U.S.-Taiwan ...

The U.S.-Taiwan FTA would be a visible and specific means of enabling Taiwan to pursue regional integration with its neighbors in the Asia-Pacific.

Madison, Wis.: Hello,

Given the recent allegations of corruption and scandal surrounding the Taiwanese "seemingly" democratic government, wouldn't the US trade undermine attempts to reform once new leaders begin receiving more foreign direct investment?

Carolyn

Mr. Fadah Hsieh and Mr. John Chen-Chung Deng: Deng: I don't agree that Taiwan is a "seemingly"democratic government. Its leaders are directly elected by its people. Taiwan is a fully-fledged democratic country that has delivered prosperity to its people, as indicated by President Bush on Nov.

Evolutionists At War Over Altruism’s Origins

An intellectual war of words has broken out between two of the world's leading evolutionists. Oxford University's Richard Dawkins and Harvard's Edward Wilson have gone head to head over the evolution of altruism in the animal kingdom, and whether it can have come about as a result of something called group selection. The subject matter of their dispute is social insects, particularly ants, which display a supreme form of altruism in that sterile workers lay down their lives for the benefit of their fertile colleagues in the colony.

Conventional Darwinian theory could not really explain why one individual should sacrifice its own life, and its precious genes, for the benefit of another individual, unless it could be viewed in terms of group selection, when indi-viduals do it for the benefit of the colony or the species.

Mike Greenberg: Admission to S.A. performing arts, museums is a real ...

As everyone knows, classical music and opera are elitist art forms, just for rich people playing dress-up. Popular music is . . . well, popular, for regular dudes in casual duds.

Unless you do the math.

The cheapest tickets to the San Antonio Symphony's concerts on Friday and Saturday cost $11.50, including the required facility charge for the Majestic Theatre. San Antonio Opera tickets start at $20.

But tonight the masses will gather at the AT&T Center to hear loudspeakers relaying the voice of the popular Mexican singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel for a $35 minimum. At the same time, popular American singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett will perform at the Majestic for a minimum of $39 a ticket. If you want to see the Police next month at the AT&T Center, you'll pay at least $50.

January 2008

While the F-22 is supreme on the enemy's side of the forward edge of battle area (FEBA), over friendly territory, the F-15 has a lot to recommend it, including a potentially larger missile payload. So, I could see how with the retirement of about 200-300 F-15s, the Air Force would be ideally positioned to reinstate its original fighter roadmap.

It will be interesting to see whether, in light of increased Russian excursions over the North Sea, the RAF decides to retain its Tornado F.2s even after acquiring the Eurofighter Typhoon. When it comes to long-range intercept and beyond visual range capability, the Tornado has it all over the Eurofighter. And with the final block of upgrades, it finally becomes the fighter it should have been from the beginning.
